Meet the maker
VoicePrompter started as my own problem. I spent years recording videos, demos, and presentations, and I never found a teleprompter that actually followed the way I speak or stayed out of my screen shares. So I built one. I wrote the whole-script voice-tracking engine myself - the part that matches your speech against your entire script instead of just the next few words - and open-sourced the web version so the core would be free for anyone to use.
Today VoicePrompter is a family of native apps for Android, Mac, iPhone, and iPad plus a free browser app, used by creators in 125+ countries with a 5.0-star App Store rating. I also build 1moment.io, a QR-code service platform for restaurants, and write about what I make at konsu.dev.

How to Use
- Paste Your Script: Copy and paste your text into the input field on the home page.
- Choose Language: Auto-detect or manually select your language.
- Start Teleprompter: Click the "Start Teleprompter" button.
- Enable Voice Control: Click the microphone button to start voice recognition.
Pro Tip: Say "prompter restart" to jump back to the beginning of your script instantly.
Features Explained
Mirror Mode
Enables horizontal flip + 180° rotation - perfect for use with teleprompter glass. The reflected text reads correctly when bounced off a mirror/glass placed in front of the camera.
Show Stop Signs
Displays visual markers (dots) at punctuation marks to help you pace your reading.
Screen Rotation
Rotates the entire app 90° clockwise - useful for iOS devices where screen orientation is locked to portrait but you want to use the teleprompter in landscape mode.
